Happily Married!!!
“How did I look on our wedding day?” I asked John.
“Good”, he answered.
But for a question as important as this, “good” simply isn’t good enough. John’s not a very wordy person, and sometimes, his brief answers don’t quite satisfy my sentimental needs.
So I asked again, using a more quantitative language for the scientist in John.
“From a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is lowest and 10 is highest, how would you rate my appearance on our wedding day?”
“10″, he said.
“Have you seen me in 11 before?” I asked.
“No”, he answered.
“Ok, good”.
Now I know I looked my best ever in his eyes on our wedding day. Yay!
In my eyes, John also scored a BIG 10! Oh my gosh he was so handsome!!!!!

We had a beautiful wedding on April 11th. Although there were still minor flaws, many of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, that it was a “princess” wedding, that they loved the atmosphere and the setting, that they would love to “do it all over again”… etc.
There are so much to write about — the wedding gown, the flowers, the rings, the wedding party, our 239 guests, the press (yes the press), the first dance, the toasts, the winery setting, the music, the table names, the gifts (which we haven’t had time to open yet)….
In the upcoming weeks prior to our honeymoon trip, I shall attempt to write about them all, plus sharing the pictures as I receive them.
