End of September wedding planning update
Look at this dress, and imagine it in the periwinkle color.
That’s the bridesmaid dress!!!
It took me a very long time to find it! First it was investing a lot of time looking for bridesmaid dresses online over a period of several weeks. Then it was identifying that there are quite a few B2 dresses that suits my taste and the feel of the wedding I am planning. Then it was analyzing the body types and personalities of all my bridesmaids and guessing which style they would accept. Then it was finding retail locations that carry those dresses, and calling each place with dress style numbers to make sure they have samples in the shop. After that was working out a schedule with my sister (who has very unpreditable schedule becuase she is moving to Arizona next month) to try on those dresses.
Luckily, all my previous online research paid off. We found the dress at the second boutique we went. Yay!!! It is a Belsoie by Jasmine dress, style L1069, which is a newly released style for Fall 2008.
My sister, who will be the maid of honor, absolutely loves the dress. She placed her order for it immediately and said she can’t wait to get it. My bridesmaid, Yvonne, also likes the dress a lot. My other bridesmaid is Erin, who’s my bestfriend from childhood and will travel from Taiwan to take part in my wedding. Hm… I don’t think this style is something she’s used to, but she said she will work on her arms for it. Her arms really look just fine, but, I guess women will never be completely happy with our own figure.
I am comtemplating on having a 3rd bridesmaid, so there will be a total of 4 including the maid of honor.
That about sums up for all I have to update at end of September. John and I have been interviewing wedding photographers and florists, but have not come to a decision yet. We aim to make a decision on at least the wedding photographer within ten days from today though. We’ve also been communicating with our wedding coordinator at the winery, and are considering changing our ceremony time. Anyways, there are so much to do! But, I think we’re doing ok.

What I want is a camera that I plug into the USB port, it shows up as a drive, I drag/drop the video to my desktop, and then I can double-click and play the video, or email it and it will play. Astonishingly, the Flip can’t do this simple task. The video encoding on Windows won’t play without installing a codec. You can’t just email the vids to your friends - you first have to run them through an app to change to a format that can be played on other PCs (and this loses resolution).
