Ladies and gentleman… let me introduce you to … MY WEDDING CAKE!!!

It’s going to look just like that, except the flowers will be in varying shades of purple to go with the wedding colors.

At a recent bridal fair, we met a baker from Riverside whose sample cake was just heavenly!!! Although he only had one flavor of sample there versus other bakers’ 5 or 6 or 7, his cake easily won our taste buds ten times over what the other bakers presented, so we immediately decided to schedule a consultation appointment with him.

At our consultation session, he served us six types of samples – white (or vanilla), raspberry, strawberry, lemon, marble (Belgian chocolate melted in vanilla cake), chocolate. They were ALL SUPERBLY DELICIOUS!!!!! Oh my gosh, I couldn’t decide! I wish I could have them all! The samples were soooooo good that ….. John and I ate every bit of it. We booked him right away. I am not a big desert person so it is huge deal for me to rave this much about cakes!

At the end we picked raspberry and marble for the cake’s multiple layers. The three-tiered cake will feature raspberry in the base layer, and marble for the top two layers.

I think our guests will be really impressed with the cake as well.

Ah… I can’t wait to eat it myself!!!
